Twenty peewee minor aged hockey players made the CHL proud this past June. Each year for the past five years, the city of Philadelphia has held the Team One Hockey AAA summer tournament. This past year a group of twenty peewee minor aged players from the Carolinas represented the CHL with great play, class and dignity. This team was comprised of players from all over North and South Carolina with just about every CHL member association represented. This team played with a very high skill level throughout the tournament garnering two wins, one near miss and a great experience for all.

The Charlotte Flames would like to thank everyone that attended their first annual “Sizzling Summer Bash on Ice”. Attendance estimates for the four hour event were 1200-1500 individuals! The Charlotte Flames were truly amazed by the turn-out! The guests were treated to a superb event with games, prizes, skating, free food and much more!

Jason Dawe has confirmed the details for his first ever Charlotte based camp. This camp has been designed to help players and goalies prepare for the upcoming 2008 / 2009 season.
